Pender Harbour Blues Society

This groups holds the annual Pender Harbour Blues Festival and promotes blues in Pender Harbour. Its Annual General Meeting is in April, and its annual fundraiser dance is in May.
Pender Harbour Community Choir

Do you love to sing? Join the Community Choir for rehearsals every week, September through June. No experience required and no auditions held. Under the direction of Joy MacLeod, the choir performs at local events and entertains residents of Sunshine Coast seniors facilities. The choir was formed in 1973 by Les Fowler.
Pender Harbour Chamber Music Festival Committee
The Chamber Music Festival committee includes Lise Alymer (chair), Joyce Fowler, Kathy Harrison, Margaret Hutton, Theresa Kishkan, Marg Penney, Margaret Skelley and Louise Todhunter. This festival is held the third weekend of August.
Pender Harbour Jazz Festival Committee

Jazz Festival co-founder Monty Rolston chose the annual event dates of the third weekend of September. Why the third weekend? Because, statistically, it’s the sunniest weekend of the fall and the festival was established in 1997 to extend the local tourist season.
Pender Harbour Legion Pipe Band

Our pipe band offers lessons, marches in parades and performs at local events such as Burns Night.
Pender Harbour Music Society

Formed in 1987, the Pender Harbour Music Society is an umbrella organization for operations of their Centre for the Performing Arts (a.k.a. Music School), including concerts, festivals and music lessons. Groups operating under the society’s umbrella include the Community Choir, Chamber Music Festival Committee and Jazz Festival Committee.
Pender Harbour Youth Choir

Pender Harbour Digital Junkies

Pender Harbour’s first and only camera club —digital optional— had its beginnings in 2006 on the Pender Harbour Message Board. New members are always welcome! Join us for photo expeditions, weather permitting, and sharing of tips and techniques.
Pender Harbour Piecemakers

This quilting guild meets twice monthly to share projects, ideas and supplies. A few talented members have won impressive awards over the years, and occasionally the Piecemakers donate a work to be raffled as a community fundraiser.

Pender Harbour Reading Centre Society

Volunteers operate the Pender Harbour Reading Centre, which is like a library, but without the pedigree and funding. The reading centre is housed in an old Forestry building at the Pender Harbour Cultural Centre.
