Looking for a good spot to drop my "crab-pot".
Have fished and boated in the Pender area for many years but never tried for crab.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.

What kind of crab pot do you have? I think you can only use the open ones inside the Harbour because fisheries was taking the illegal ones a month or so ago. Apparently the crabbing inside the harbour isn't that good these days anyway. Sorry I can't help with a spot to catch, just where not to catch em.

Most of my neighbours put their traps in Bargain Bay,[harbour] approx. 2/3 hundred meters south of Canoe Pass.

Can your boat make it to Alaska LOL
You really don't hear much about people catching crab in the harbour.
