Kleindale

No one is sure where Kleindale begins and ends, but it's considered to be the area along Hwy. 101 from the foot of Misery Mile to the high school, and down Garden Bay Rd. to Percival's Farm of Black Angus cattle.

Kleindale is infamous for its extreme (from a Pender Harbour perspective) weather, for llamas and the largest local populations of coyotes, wolves and elk.

Although mostly residential, this central area includes several small agricultural and light industrial zones, and is designated in our Official Community Plan for new commercial and industrial development.

Artists' studios are juxtaposed with small industrial/commercial businesses including a gravel pit, nursery, campground and organic produce farm. Kleindale has the community's only gas station and it is the earthly location of Pender Harbour Online (at the Pender Harbour Paper Mill).
