With a temperate climate, thousands of acres of parkland and easy wilderness access, Pender Harbour is a popular outdoor recreation spot for locals and visitors alike.
Not the outdoorsy type? Join old friends and make new ones at bingo, karioke, meat draws, jam sessions and more.
School gyms and fields are well-used for sports.
Gambling
You can play government lotteries, pull tabs and scratch games at a variety of local outlets, but we encourage you to gamble with real people you know rather than against the BC Lottery Corp computer; it ensures that, statistically, the more you play, the more you lose. Offsite link: Odds of Winning.
You may not win every time at Bingo, Crib, Texas Hold’em and Meat Draws, but you’re supporting local businesses and organizations, and keeping most of the money you spend in the community.
See Weekly Events & Entertainment for more information about these and other regular games:
Bingo
Bingo is a Pender Harbour tradition and a fundraiser for the Pender Harbour Community Club. Join the regulars every week at the Pender Harbour Community Hall.
Bridge

Cribbage

Texas Hold’Em

Meat Draws
Meat draws are held weekly at the Legion and Garden Bay Pub. The latter is a fundraiser for the Pender Harbour Blues Society.
